What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
This privacy policy applies to the Astro Capture app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by LARIS SP Z O O, referred to as the Service Provider.
The Application does not collect, log, or store any personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required. If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data, such as an ephemeral IP address, may be transmitted only to facilitate network connectivity, but this data is not retained or used for tracking by the Service Provider.
Location information
The Application does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device.
Third-party access
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, no personal data is shared with third parties, sold, rented, or transferred for advertising or tracking purposes.
Data Retention
The Application does not collect or retain personal data on LARIS servers. Astro Capture is designed for local-first use. Any target lists, night condition preferences, session logs, imaging settings, SNR planning values, reminders, file sorting history, saved targets, or session history created in the app are intended to remain on the user’s own device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.
Because LARIS does not receive or store this app data, LARIS has no server-side retention period for it.
Data Deletion
Because the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, users can remove locally stored app data by using available in-app clear functions, such as clearing saved targets or session history, where provided. Users may also delete local data by uninstalling the Application from their device.
If you contact LARIS directly and voluntarily provide information by email or other means, you may request deletion of that voluntarily provided information by contacting support@laris.ink.
Opt-out rights
Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, uninstalling the Application removes the app from your device and stops future use. No account cancellation is needed because no account is required.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit personal data from children or market to them. Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, children’s data is not collected by the Application.
Security
Because the Application does not collect personal data, the risk of personal data exposure through the Application is minimal. However, no security system is completely secure. The Service Provider applies reasonable safeguards to protect any information it may hold through direct voluntary communication.
Data Breach Notification
Since the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a data breach affecting app-related personal data is minimal. If a breach occurs involving information you voluntarily provided directly to LARIS, the Service Provider will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by posting the updated Privacy Policy with a new effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek consent to material changes before they take effect.

Your Consent
If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
